Italy paves the way for the circular economy. According to the latest data provided by Eurostat, Italians recycle more than 76% of their total amount of waste. The average percentage of waste recycled in Europe is around 37%. If we consider these figures carefully, 60% of collected plastics can be recycled. The remaining 40% cannot be reused, said Antonello Ciotti, the president of the Italian Association of Plastics Recycling. A lot is better than a little. There's no denying that the Italian case is a great success!
