Plastics have helped improve living standards, hygiene, and nutrition around the world, especially in developing countries. Rapid increases in income and prosperity have brought us many of the conveniences in modern life. But used plastics have become a global environmental challenge. That's why many big companies have joined forces giving birth to the Alliance to End Plastic Waste. Italy is leading the battle. We recycle more than 76% of our total amount of waste. Corepla, the Italian Association of Plastics Recycling, is one of the key players involved in this ongoing process of waste recycling.
