River Cleaning has found a revolutionary and self- powering solution for collecting plastics floating on rivers. The River Cleaning system is made up of a series of floating devices, positioned diagonally along the course of the river; thus positioned, they allow the interception of plastic waste and then transport it a special storage area on the river bank. The system was designed by Italian Vanni Covolo, CEO and owner of the River Cleaning patent. Thanks to his experience and entrepreneurial skills, he was awarded with the "Leone d'oro" in Venice for this innovative project.
