Magnum, Unilever's major ice cream brand, has launched a range of newly designed tubs made from recycled polypropylene plastic. "The recycled plastic is mixed with a conventional feedstock. All these materials are fully certified (ISCC-Plus Certification) to improve traceability in the value chain," the company explained. The tubs have been developed in collaboration with Sabic. According to Unilever, Magnum is the "world's first" ice cream brand to offer product packaging containing recycled plastic.
