ENGEL Austria, the world's largest manufacturer of injection molding machines, has signed the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. The company has committed itself to actively contributing to the transfer of plastics into closed material cycles, in cooperation with more than 350 other companies, universities, and organizations. Launched in 2018, the initiative aims to eliminate unnecessary packaging and consequently ensure that by 2025 all plastic packaging will be reused, recycled or composted.
