Here are some of the contenders: Detecta by Quinn is a recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) detectable black tray. Recycled Raincoats by Billygoats & Raincoats are raincoats created from discarded music festival tents. LuxCR Depolymerisation Process by DuPont Teijin Films are film lids that use 50 percent rPET. These are the finalists for the U.K. Best Recycled Plastic Product Award 2019. Promoted by RECycling of Used Plastics Limited (aka Recoup), the award is in its fifth year. The 2019 winner will be announced at the Plastics Industry Awards dinner on Sept. 27.
