ALL WASTE IS SHAMEFUL. UNCONSUMED FOOD IS A REAL PROBLEM AS WELL AS DISCARDED PACKAGING

Food waste is a more damaging problem than packaging waste. That's what Gary Buchalter, innovations director for RPC bpi protec, has declared. Waste from restaurants is at scandalous proportions. And what about domestic waste? The 1.3 billion tons of solid waste produced yearly around the world is from food sector. It is estimated that water equivalent to three times the volume of Lake Geneva is used to produce food that ends up being throw away. All waste is shameful. What we need is global waste management. This is the key to tackling both food and packaging waste.
