Ferrero's US division has partnered with the Association of Plastic Recyclers in a bid to enhance its plastics recycling.

The Italian-founded confectionery group will help define, develop and update design-for-recyclability guidelines that would be uniform across the sector, says the confectionery production website. This latest partnership announcement follows Ferrero's recent announcements on design-for-recyclability guideline partnerships in Europe with Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE) and CEFLEX.
