How do I fill in the Product Sheet page?

While completing the Product Sheet, you are required to enter various information describing the goods. If you know the brand name of the product, the system will help in filling it in, otherwise you can manually complete the advertisement.
For each offer of sale it is mandatory to attach a scan of the Technical Data and the Material Safety Data for each product. It's highly recommended to attach photographs and/or the Certificate of Analysis, if available, to better identify the product specifications.

N.B. Members are solely responsible for the validity of the data and all
submitted documents. PlasticFinder reserves the right, by means of its employees or responsible third parties, to inspect the products for sale at the warehouse of the Seller.

What is meant by "slow moving", "product quality"? Definitions.

During the filling in of the ‘Product Sheet' you are required to specify the ‘product quality' based on the following descriptions:

First Choice/Slow moving
Product made from high quality raw materials, which meet the specifications stated by the manufacturer. The product should be optimally packed and labelled, and should have been processed or manufactured more than 180 days before the insertion of the sales offer. A certain degree of aging in the packaging can be permitted, as long as this does not in any way compromise the correct use (handling and/or processing) of the product itself.

First Choice/Virgin
Product made from high quality raw materials, which meet the specifications stated by the manufacturer. The product should be optimally packed and labelled, and should have been manufactured or acquired within the preceding 180 days.

Out of specification (Off spec)
Product made from high quality raw materials and optimally packed and labelled. This product does not comply with some or all of the specifications stated by the manufacturer, or has defects in the packaging, which do not however in any way, compromise the correct use (handling and/or processing) of the product itself. The type of defect must be detailed as precisely as possible.

Regenerated
Product obtained (either partly or fully) from post-consumer recycled materials or processing scraps. The product should be optimally packed and labelled and meet the specifications stated by the manufacturer.

Who decides the price of the products for sale?

The seller sets the selling price of the products when completing the Product Sheet.
PlasticFinder suggests setting a price approximately 30-50% lower than the market average for Slow Moving Inventory and Off Spec Products, and 10-15% lower for First Choice and Regenerated products.
PlasticFinder reserves the right not to publish tenders stating off-market prices, whether higher or lower than the current market.

How is it possible to guarantee anonymity?

PlasticFinder assures complete confidentiality regarding the identity of its trading members (both buyers and sellers), and directly manages all phases of the logistics. PlasticFinder is therefore the only contact for both the buyer and seller who never interact in any way.

Why the payment is SAFE?

Payment is safe for both the seller and the buyer.

If you are a seller: the product will leave your premises only when the buyer has deposited the required amount into the guaranteed escrow account set up for the transactions.

If you are a buyer: the funds, which will have been transferred in advance to the guaranteed escrow account, will only be released to the seller four days after the delivery of the goods to your business premises, providing that you have no complaints regarding the product.

What guarantee do I have on the quality of the product?

PlasticFinder guarantees the buyer that the product conforms to the ‘Product Sheet' description which is attached to the published offer.

The buyer has 4 days from receipt of the goods, to report any defects or non-compliance of the goods, in respect to the product description stated on the Product Sheet. A report can be made on the MYPLASTICFINDER page by clicking on ‘My Transactions', then ‘Buy' and finally completing the ‘Send Claim' option.

Can I delete an Offer of Sale?

Yes. You have the right to cancel an offer of sale for which you have not yet received a Purchase Confirmation from PlasticFinder. To cancel the offer go to the MYPLASTICFINDER page > Products > Sale and then delete using the appropriate key.

How do the transport and logistics work?

PlasticFinder manages the entire logistics operation, organising the goods collection, the correct packaging, and arranging the final delivery to the destination. The transportation costs, which are transparently highlighted throughout the purchase process, are covered by the buyer.
